Malaysia–Qatar Healthcare Collaboration Strengthened at Sunway Medical Centre Penang

Sunway Medical Centre Penang was entrusted to be the meeting ground for a visit that signals a new chapter in Malaysia-Qatar healthcare collaboration. We were honoured to host a high-level delegation from the State of Qatar, led by His Excellency Salah bin Mohammed Al-Sorour, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Kuala Lumpur, and received warmly by our CEO, Ms. Christine Lee. The delegation included Mr. Ibrahim Abdulla Al-Sheraim and Mr. Ali Mansour.
We were equally delighted to welcome Dato’ Muzammil bin Mohamad, Qatar Airways Regional Manager ASEAN, whose presence reaffirms the vital role of connectivity in bridging nations and opening new pathways for healthcare access.
A special note of appreciation goes to Dr. Mary Ann Harris, Executive Director of PMED, and Representatives from Penang Global Tourism, whose dedication and efforts were instrumental in bringing this meaningful engagement to life.
