Building Bridges in Healthcare with Qatar at Northern Heart Hospital Penang
Today, Northern Heart Hospital Penang was honoured to welcome the delegation led by His Excellency Salah bin Mohammed Al‑Sorour, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Malaysia.
Accompanying the delegation was YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang State EXCO for Tourism & Creative Economy, together with Dr. Mary Ann Harris, Executive Director of the Penang Centre of Medical Tourism (PMED), whom we sincerely thank for arranging this visit.
Our CEO, Ms. Kelen Leong, welcomed the delegation with an introduction to Northern Heart Hospital Penang, highlighting our comprehensive heart and vascular services, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient-centred care. The delegation was then taken on a guided tour of our facilities, followed by a meaningful exchange of ideas on potential collaborations in healthcare and medical tourism with Qatar.
