Objective
To provide PMED-affiliated healthcare providers with well-trained and motivated interns from IPK College, while offering our students valuable hands-on experience in the healthcare and medical tourism sectors.
Structure and Implementation
Duration:
Internships will span from 3 to 6 months, depending on the student’s course requirements and the needs of the healthcare provider.
Disciplines Involved:
Students from Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance and related fields.
Scope of Work:
Interns will assist with tasks related to patient service management, cross-cultural communication, healthcare-related administration, logistics, and support functions as needed.
Internship Opportunities
Local Students:
Our local students will be prepared and trained to meet the high standards required in the medical tourism industry.
International Students:
International students are eligible for internship placements. If a company wishes to convert them to full-time employment after their internship, this will require permission from the relevant authorities, such as the Malaysian Immigration Department.
